Flash memory is all the rave. Away with moving parts, mechanical defects, and old, clunky hard rives. Google Chromebooks are running away this technology, providing one with all the storage of the atmosphere, along with local storage. chrome books are optimized for browsing the internet, conveniently running Google's applications. I'll be honest, i strip out the duo core processor, the extra 2 gigs of ram, an extra couple inches worth of monitor, a few less hundred gigs of local storage, i have my self an overpriced chrome-book book. Something meant to browse the internet. I said "wow!!! great idea". then i saw the price tag and wondered, what are they trying to do, they cant sell a wimpier machine for the same price. So until Google wows me with their price, just emulate Google's chrome.
maybe most convenient, is the ability to run dual boots of windows 7, and run chrome os off a flash drive. i'll be honest, chrome os is plenty quick, just not worth the buck yet
